Trader Travis is a guy with a do-it-yourself philosophy that keeps him knee high in all sorts of side projects. Building rain barrels has turned into a project that has really taken off in the Philadelphia area. I can deliver your rain barrel to your house if need be. Sometimes by truck, other times I may use my Surly Big Dummy longtail cargo bicycle. Most days I’m riding this bike to take my son to school, fetch groceries and explore our city. I currently don’t offer installation of the rain barrels. This would require me to carry contractors insurance. I’d rather keep my costs low [ so the rain barrels cost less ] and focus on building them. Installation is pretty straightforward, but if you are not the handy type I’m sure there is a handyperson in your neighborhood who can help out.
I also collect all sorts of items throughout the year that would otherwise end up in the trash and offer them to the community at my outpost in Delaware. I have been doing this for more than 5 years now, and it’s become wildly successful. I’d love to do a version here in the city based on the same model. A store where no money is exchanged, only goods. Maybe someday.

Looking to purchase two rainwater barrels for my house. How much for two barrels? Also, do they come in white only? Thanks.
